What does my "Delivery Exception" mean?Updated 4 months ago

We hope that your LOLA order arrives to you as quickly and smoothly as possible, but we understand that shipments sometimes hit road bumps along the way. Rest assured, we will make sure you get the products you ordered!

If you receive an email alerting you of a delivery exception, it could mean a few things, so there’s no need to worry quite yet. We’ve outlined what each exception means below so that you know what will happen next with your order!

Your package is still on its way:

  • MIS-SHIPPED or MIS-SENT: Your package was sent to the wrong post office or sorting facility, and is currently being re-routed. Your package may experience a slight delay, but is still en route to you. No further action is required on your part! Your package will be to you shortly.
  • POSSIBLE DELIVERY DELAY: Your package experienced a slight delay on its way to you, but is still en route. No further action is required on your part! Your package will arrive shortly.
  • NO ACCESS: The courier was unable to access a secure delivery location. USPS will automatically reattempt delivery on the next business day. If it’s been more than 24 hours since the initial “No Access” scan (Monday–Friday), please reach out to your local post office for an update. They can help you figure out the easiest way to retrieve your order!
  • RECEPTACLE BLOCKED or FULL: USPS will automatically attempt delivery on the next business day. Please note, if the receptacle is still blocked or full, the package will be returned to your post office for pickup. We recommend reaching out to your local post office, as they can help you figure out the easiest way to retrieve your order!

Your package is being held at your local post office:

  • NOTICE LEFT (No secure location available): USPS was unable to find a secure location to deliver your package. You can schedule a redelivery through USPS, or drop by your local post office to pick up your package.
  • DELIVERY STATUS NOT UPDATED: Your package arrived for delivery; however, it has not yet been processed for delivery. If 24 hours have passed and there has been no follow up scan since arriving at your local Post Office, please reach out to your local post office for an update.

NOTE: If your package is held at your post office and is unclaimed by the Return Date, then it will be returned to sender.

Your package is being returned to us:

  • ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN
  • INCORRECT or INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS
  • UNDELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED
  • MOVED
  • RETURN TO SENDER

If your order has experienced any one of these exceptions, it’s unfortunately on its way back to us. We definitely want to make sure you receive your products, though! Please reach out to us at [email protected] so that we can get a replacement order on its way to you as quickly as possible.
