Is LOLA's essential oil blend organic?Updated 9 months ago

No, our essential oil blend is not certified organic. There is no organic certification for essential oils by the FDA, or any other globally-recognized international cosmetics body (like there is with cotton, for example).

The only organic certification for essential oils is a food grade standard governed by USDA, which isn’t a standard of oil purity or skin safety – both critical for creating a safe and effective formula of the highest quality.

Like USDA-certified organic essential oils, the pure essential oils used in our blend are tested to be free of pesticides. Additionally,  unlike most that are USDA-certified organic, LOLA’s essential oil blend is IFRA compliant and tested by a third-party laboratory for safe, direct use on skin.
