Can you charge my card if it's expired?Updated 9 months ago
Credit card networks often automatically send updated card information to our vaulting service when a card number or expiration date linked to an authorized payment account changes. For example, if the card linked to your LOLA account was recently replaced due to expiration or a reported loss or theft, our payment processor may have received your replacement card number directly from the credit card network. These automatic updates help us provide uninterrupted service and reduce the need for our customers to contact us directly each time they receive a new card number or expiration date.
To be clear, we do not store credit cards. LOLA uses a secure third party credit card vaulting service which is fully PCI-compliant, as well as a Level 1 Service Provider. This is the highest level of PCI DSS compliance.
If you'd like to remove one of these cards from our third party processing system, please reach out to us at [email protected]!
