Can I use the Postpartum Pads and Perineal Gel Packs together for extra coverage? What if I need more coverage than just the disposable sleeves included with the Perineal Gel Packs?Updated 9 days ago

The Perineal Gel Packs’ disposable sleeves are absorbent, and are intended to make clean up easy by providing added hygiene. 

We recommend changing your disposable sleeves regularly, and cleaning the Perineal Gel Packs between uses, whether or not the disposable sleeve is used.

You know your body best. If you are experiencing heavy bleeding postpartum, and feel like you need additional coverage other than the disposable sleeves included with the Perineal Gel Packs, consider using our Postpartum Pads and/or Ultra Thin Pads with Wings in heavy absorbency underneath your Perineal Gel Packs.

It is safe to wear both the Postpartum Pads and Perineal Gel Packs together.

Remember, please be patient with yourself, find what works for you, and most importantly, consult with your doctor if excessive bleeding does not subside in due time, or new symptoms develop.
