Can I use LOLA's personal lubricant and condoms together?Updated 4 months ago
Our personal lubricant is absolutely safe to use with our ultra thin condoms (or any latex or polyisoprene condoms). Our water-based personal lubricant is also FDA 510(k) cleared, which ensures it will not interfere with or deteriorate the condom's effectiveness.
Please note: our personal lubricant is not compatible with polyurethane condoms.
For your own reference, if you are planning to use a personal lubricant with condoms, we recommend that you choose a lubricant that has been FDA 510(k) cleared, like ours. This ensures that its formula has been properly tested and is cleared for safe use with condoms.
Many natural oils (like olive oil), petroleum-based jellies, and massage oils labeled as lubricants can cause vaginal bacterial infections, or worse, interfere with the integrity of condoms. Always make sure that the lubricant you and your partner use is tested for safety and will not cause vaginal irritation.
